Chalk Board Effect

Mudra Challenge #9 Chalk Board Technique

Today I am here with you to share very interesting technique known as chalkboard technique. I am participating in Mudra Challenge # 9 Chalk Board Technique

I have made few cards using Mudra Stamp - Beautiful Butterflies . I heat embossed the butterfly with white embossing powder and then fussy cut it with scissors and pasted it on the card with foam tape. I outlined my card with white Jelly Roll Pen By Sakura . I combined few more stamps with my butterfly stamp  to give more complete look to the cards.

In the last card I stamped the butterfly and then coloured it with distress inks and then fussy cut it . I did not  use white embossing powder in my last card . I just stamped it with white Hampton Art Ink and rubbed the ink here and there to give more chalky look .

I hope you like my creations and will give a try to these fun techniques . Do leave a comment if you liked them or if you have any quarry .

Alochol addiction .... oops Alcohol Ink addiction ...

Hello Everyone ,
Summers are at its peak . Staying at home and crafting is all I love to do . Today I tried my hand on Alcohol Inks and tried to create monochromatic background with it . I used Adrindolock Alcohol ink, (citrus)  to create two different cards . I created many different shades backgrounds but I will be sharing them later . I also used alcohol  blending solution along with the ink . After the background was completely dry I created two cards but with different stamps . I used inkadinkado meadow stamp in the first card and Mudra Stamp .. Happy Girl in the second card. In the second card I used Penny Black Stamp (Winter Berries ). I heat embossed the sentiment in  both the cards with green embossing powder .

My First Card

Here is my second card . I heat embossed the stamped images with black embossing powder.

I wanted to put miss you mummy in this card as sentiment ...but this miss you word can not describe the pain and agony of a daughter who lost her mom . I wish I could take back every pain and worry that I ever gave you ma.
I Miss You Mom.....

Envelope with hand made Daisies for Papericious May monthly Challenge

Hello !! Today I am here to share with you an envelope with hand made white Daisies . I created Daisies using Sigma white cardstock . Paper was die cut using Cheery Lynn Die , Daisy Strip . I placed these daisies along with my shaker element . For the shaker element the frame was backed with acetate and framed with two layers  of foam adhesive being filled with sequins in my stash .

To add more bling to the envelope I added Papericious crystal clear  to Doohickey Magnolia Butterfly . I know that the picture is not doing justice with the glitter effect of this  amazing crystal clear , but believe me its truly magical .

I hope you liked this and if you did leave me some love ;)
Happy Crafting !!
Hugs

My come back with Hand Made Roses

Hello everyone ,
Finally I made a comeback to my blog .I have not been doing a lot of craft , as being with kids at home doesn't leave me with a free time to craft . I was teaching my elder daughter who was in 10th standard . Now when she is through her exams I finally thought of catching up with my crafting passion . Past year has been a very trying one for me as I lost my mom . I felt trapped , alone and hopeless more times than I ever thought in my entire lifetime. I was drowning in grief unable to see a light out .Initially my first waking thought was ,"she's gone"..but as the time passed it was my third or fourth thought of the day . Going on without her is crazy to me. I do not want this to define me but for sure this tough time of transition has left me with no courage , confidence and conviction.
I was really getting itch to start crafting again but when I saw the Rainbow crafty Kari challenge  I thought I have to do it . Finally I'm settled enough to share with you the tags I made using hand made flowers .

The Tags are made up of Iris paper 270 GSM . I first coloured the tags using distress ink , heat embossed using clear embossing powder and further stamped it using archival ink . The roses are created using Spellbinder rose creations die . I inked the die cut roses with 'Rose Madder ' Archival ink in the first tag .

I gave the frosty  look to the flower using Frosting Powder by Rajni Chawla . Finally I placed all the elements together to complete the tag .

In the second tag I used combination of Victorian Velvet distress ink and Mustard seed distress ink . Bigger rose is created using  Spellbinders Rose Creations die and the smaller one is created using Cheery Lynn Rose die. Bird is die cut using Penny Black die - Perched and added shimmer to the bird using Crystal Clear by Rajni Chawla.

Last but not least the third tag is also made by distressing the background  by distress ink ,dry embossed using Martha Stewart Scoring Board and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. Roses are made using the Spellbinders Rose Creation Die .

I love how these tags turned out . Do leave your comments . Thanks for stopping by !!
