Hi Folks! today is the last day of month February and I wanted to share with you quick cards I made for the Mudra Mood Board Challenge #18 .
For the first card I distressed the background using "wilted Violet " and "Seedless Preserve" distress inks. Then I  brushed the surface with "Perfect Pearls ". Further I embossed the background using "we R Memory Keepers" Embossing Folder. In the end I added Thanks Die Cut Using Mudra Thanks Die.

For the second card I used same technique of distressing and topped it with Spellbinders Fancy Lattice Die .

Love is in the air

Hi Friends ,  today I created a card using our Indian Brand Stamps from Craftyscrappers . These are gorgeous stamps and the best part is you can customized the stamps  according to the size you require. In my card I used the stamp set Forever Yours . I just love this  stamp set.

Thanks Card

Today I made a quick card using beautiful our Indian  Mudra wild rose stamp and wonderful Thanks Die again by Mudra. The die is  wonderful and gives a crisp cut.

I made a card using masking technique and it took lots of time in colouring the stamp. I used copics to colour them. Here are the few close ups of the card .

Watering Can out of a Coke Can

Today I made an altered plaque to make an entry to few of the challenges.

I took the plaque which was lying in my house for quite long time and I decided to compliment this MDF plaque with a watering can which I made out of a coke can. I decided to first coat my plaque with chalk paint with blue colour chalk paint and dried it.

Later I rubbed the whole plaque with paraffin wax and finally my last coat of chalk paint that is a light colour .

I dried this coat and used a steel scrubber to give a distressed look to the plaque .Then decoupaged  with Papericious decoupage paper which I fussy cut using scissors .

I now decided to alter a coke can into watering can . First I cut it  and gave the shape of a watering can . I now coloured it with a blue chalk paint .

Then stencilled the can with white chalk paint with Studio 490 Stencil.  Later decoupage it with the same Papericious paper using Mod Podge Matt. Later I added few elements and flowers to give it a complete look .Here are the few close ups of  the plaque .

I hope you enjoyed watching the steps as much as I enjoyed creating it .

I am entering my project to the following challenges :

Quick card using Stampendous Stamp 'Snow Bird'

Hello everyone ,
It is my first post for the month of august . Stampendous stamp which I have used in my card was lying with me since long , so today I thought of creating a card with this beautiful Snow Bird stamp.
I first coloured the image using distress ink and then I die cut the image using Spellbinder  Nestabilities Lacy Oval Dies . I then  added the snow effect to the image using Frosting Powder along with some Rock Candy Glitter. I then matted the image on to one of the  Papericious -wooden collection paper and it is one of my favourite paper stack . I die cut the pattern paper using   Spellbinder Borderabilities A2 bracket border dies . Again I  matted the pattern paper over white card stock which I scored at every 1/4" using Martha stewart score board . Finally I adhered the whole thing onto black card stock. I specially created this card for Papercious monthaly challenge so I added some flowers to the stamped image to complete the second column of Tic -Tac- Toe.  Now comes the time to add some sentiment to the card . I know its not December but the image demanded the sentiment to be none other than "Merry Christmas ".I die cut the black card stock using Sizzix - Christmas Thinlits dies -"Holiday Words ". Later I added some snow and some sequins here and there to the card . So, here is the full reveal to the card . I totally enjoyed making this card .
